Welcome to the homepage of the Columbus Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, CAMPO for short. CAMPO is the Metropolitan Planning Organization for the City of Columbus and Bartholomew County as designated by the Governor of Indiana. CAMPO is facilitating the ColumBUS Transit Improvement and Expansion Plan. Please come to an open house on Tuesday, April 9th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Commons to tell us what you would like Transit to look like in the future. And please take the following survey! Transit SurveyColumBUS Transit and CAMPO hosted a Public Hearing on April 1, 2013, 2:00pm-6:00pm at the Meeting Hall in City Hall regarding changes to Call-a-Bus Policies. The changes are focused on compliance with American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulation for paratransit services. Comments to the document can be made up to 6:00pm on Friday, April 5th. The policy document being changed is the AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT PARATRANSIT PLAN FOR CITY OF COLUMBUS, INDIANA ADA Paratransit Plan - 2013The site is designed with you, the citizen, in mind. The goal of this site is to provide you with a comprehensive view of the transportation planning process in your community. On the left you will find the site navigation.
